The American College of Surgeons offers two scholarship schemes for non-US or Canada surgeons wishing to travel to the USA for the American College of Surgeons Annual Congress. There are two levels of scholarships, and applications are open for the Congress which will take place in Boston Massachusetts in October 2018. The deadline for both programmes is 3 July 2017.
The International Guest Scholarships are aimed at early career surgeons who have completed their surgical training. They should be over the age of 35 but under the age of 50 and be able to demonstrate an interest in teaching or research in their home country. The scholarship provides funding of $10,000 to cover attendance at the American College of Surgeons Meeting, and visits to clinics or institutions of the surgeon's choice following the congress.
